   Geannea's Kids is the true accounts of Victims of Abuse. It is the stories of secrets that we as a society do not want

to talk about or get involved in because it would force us to act. It is the stories of kids who get abused by either parent

at sometime in their lives which lead them to a lot of years of pain. A mother tells of 26 years of abuse by her own father.

    These are stories that are too painful to talk about in public, so the victims hide out until they can trust someone

enough to share. The stories tell of their pain and humiliation, but also of their triumphs because someone was willing

to say "Enough Is Enough" As I  became involved with each one personally, I cried as I have never cried before. I became

sensitive to their pain, anguish, and disgust at the society that they tried to be productive citizens in. After listening to each,

I heard the same cry over and over " Nobody Will Help"

    For them it has been a struggle to exist everyday not knowing if they were going to have a place to live. Some deserted

by their spouses, having to survive the best way they could, getting food from trash cans, they fed their children, only to be

accused of abuse or neglect themselves. With each of them, I found a commonality "They had been abused by one or the

other parent" The person that they married was as abusive as that parent, so they had not known what "True Love" was

about.

    They cannot maintain a healthy relationship because they fall prey to "A Helping Hand" who gives expecting something

in return. The agencies who give them a helping hand only gives it for a little while and there they are in desperation again.

Monies they receive and assistance does not equal the monthly existance, "There is always more month than money"

If they get an increase in one benefit, they get a decrease in the other. If they are fortunate to get a Housing Voucher,

evaluation time causes it to increase because they got $10.00 increase in EBT.

    Their kids are Bright Kids, but most are Autistic and are very high maintenance. The physicians have them on meds and

if they had to pay for them, they could not afford it, but yet in still they are required to be on them to be "NORMAL" like

other kids. So we have a problem, the same agencies that require them to be medicated, cannot supply them with adequate

food to sustain their active, but awkward lifestyles.

    So now we deal with the fathers who desert them and leave the mother to raise them Fatherless, creating a class of

"Modern Day Widows" They have enough resources to support them, but are prideful, arrogant, and selfish, so they shift

them off on society to do the job that they are supposed to be doing. To make matters worse, they abuse and misuse their

spouse and threaten her if she reports them. They slam their heads into apartment walls, get taken out by the police without

an arrest. A restraining order is put in place against him and he laughs because he will sneak back and says he has a right

to see his kids because he is the "FATHER" who has constantly beat their mom up! If she does not go along with him,

when it is visitation time, he will take the child and not come back. Because the judicial system has given him co-parenting

rights because "HE IS AFTER ALL THE FATHER".

     These feed on fear and intimidation because there is no one to stop them. The mother is helpless and has no one to turn

to. The Church cannot help because they are afraid that she will cause a problem. She is not looking for a man to take under

her roof, she is looking for a people to protect her and help take care of her children.

      When agencies have exhausted their funds, her dilema continues. where can I get help without shame and ridicule?

I saw a tee shirt that stated " I understand, I just don't care" So we at OGCW Ministries are filling that Gap. We are truly setting

the captive free. We have for the last  6 years supplied a place of refuge for those in need.

We have 6 acres here and 20 acres in Southeastern Oregon that the Lord has blessed us with. We are self sufficient with the ability to
